Fieldtrip

On 7 February 2013 we will visit a dairy farm near Thun and receive insights into a typical Swiss farm. A Swiss apero will be provided as well.

For attendants who are interested in leisure activities we provide some practical information stated below:

Skiing, snowboarding, sledding and cross-country skiing: There are combination tickets available for chosen Swiss Ski regions. These “snow and rail” tickets contain the travel to the destination by train and the ski pass of the chosen region. All the available combination tickets will be published on the 1. November on the Swiss Federal railway web page: http://www.sbb.ch/en/leisure-holidays/day-trips/snownrail-roll-on-winter.html

A very helpful overview of all the Swiss Ski resorts gives the web page bergflex. This web page provides information about the lift facilities, pistes, weather, snow condition and contains pictures and web cams.
